Glassdays Privacy Policy

Data Stored On Device

Glassdays stores countdowns, folders, notification preferences, display preferences, selected images, and widget data locally on your device and in the app's shared app-group container so the app and widget can show your countdowns.

If you choose a photo from your photo library, the selected image is stored locally for countdown or folder backgrounds. Glassdays does not upload your selected photo-library images to the developer.

Optional iCloud Sync

Glassdays Pro can optionally synchronize your countdowns, folders, selected images, and related settings through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. This keeps the same information available on your Apple devices. The developer does not operate an account system or use this data for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

You can turn off iCloud Sync in Glassdays Settings at any time. You can delete individual countdowns or folders in the app, and deleting the app removes its local data. iCloud data is handled through your Apple account and Apple’s CloudKit service.

Calendar Access

If you choose “Add to Apple Calendar,” Glassdays asks for calendar access and creates, updates, or removes the calendar events you choose. The event title, date, recurrence, and selected time zone are sent to your device’s Calendar store. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

Glassdays uses TelemetryDeck to understand whether the app is being used and which Pro entry points are useful. TelemetryDeck receives a randomly generated, anonymous installation identifier; installation and session events; an event when the Glassdays Pro screen is shown; and a fixed source label describing where that screen was opened. Event timestamps are rounded to the hour. Standard app and device metadata, such as app version, operating-system version, device model, language, region, and screen characteristics, may also be included.

Glassdays does not send countdown titles, folder names, calendar information, image searches, transaction identifiers, email addresses, or other free-form content to TelemetryDeck. You can disable future TelemetryDeck collection at any time using “Share Anonymous Analytics” under Privacy & Legal in Glassdays Settings. Disabling it does not delete events already transmitted and does not affect purchases, purchase validation, or restoration through StoreKit and RevenueCat.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple StoreKit processes Glassdays Pro purchases. Glassdays also uses RevenueCat to validate, reconcile, restore, and report purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous customer identifier generated by its SDK, receipt and transaction information made available by Apple, and purchase history needed for validation, analytics, and restore behavior. Glassdays does not send usage or Pro-screen analytics to RevenueCat.

RevenueCat purchase processing is independent of the TelemetryDeck analytics preference. Turning off “Share Anonymous Analytics” does not stop StoreKit or RevenueCat from processing purchase information needed to provide Glassdays Pro and restore prior purchases.

Network Features

Glassdays uses network requests for these features:

• Collections presets: the app downloads gallery data and related preset images from the developer's GitHub-hosted CountdownJSON repository.
• Unsplash search: when you search Unsplash, your query passes through the developer's Cloudflare Worker proxy to the Unsplash API. The proxy processes the query only in real time to return results; the developer does not collect, store, log, or retain the query, IP address, request headers, or other personal data. Unsplash image URLs are loaded directly from Unsplash's CDN. When you choose an Unsplash photo, Glassdays notifies Unsplash of that download event and shows linked photographer and Unsplash attribution.
• Optional support email: if you send feedback or a bug report, the email content is sent by your mail provider to the developer's support address.

The developer does not use these requests for advertising or tracking. Third-party services may process standard network information, such as IP address, device/browser/network metadata, server logs, and the content of requests sent to them, under their own privacy policies.

Notifications

Glassdays schedules local notifications on your device. Notification settings and offsets are stored locally. The developer does not receive notification content.

Widgets

Countdown widgets read countdown data from the shared local app-group store. The widget does not send countdown data to the developer.

Tracking

Glassdays does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the advertising identifier.

Contact

If you contact the developer for support, the developer receives the information you choose to include in your message.

Retention and Your Choices

Glassdays keeps local app data until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond to and resolve your request. You may stop using optional network features, notifications, calendar access, and iCloud Sync at any time through Glassdays or iOS Settings.

Third-Party Services
